Pushin me over the edge

Morning Glamour Babies,
From the beginning of time whether it be humidity or that blue light basement party, We have been a slave to the perfection of our edges. Sacrificing hair lines, and wearing our hair back in a ponytail our edges have suffered the most on our quest for sleek glamour but all of this is totally unnecessary. There are many tricks that you can use to conquer the edges and still keep them healthy. Now before I let y'all have it, I want to say I know this is a touchy subject , but I would not be a loving Fairy Glam-mother if I didn't keep it real with you.
"Your edges don't have to be picture perfect all the damn time, for you to be fabulous!" Okay ... now that I have that off my chest ,as you already know pressing your edges is a sure fire way to kick off hair loss and major regrets. So for those hot and humid times, press your edges in the beginning of the week and apply a very small amount of a sleeking balm like Design Essentials Sleek to tie your edges down every night tightly with a satin scarf. The key is to apply an amount so small that it adds weight to your edges but not so much product that it reverts your hair in the humidity. I like to call it dry weight. Tieing it down every night is a heat free way of training the hair without causing damage. This works well on natural and relaxed hair. I know this concept will take some time for many of you to grasp as the perfection of our edges have become one of the top hair obsessions. But if you take heed to Fairy Glam-Mommies advice below, I promise you'll be just as fabulous and have improved health of your hair line:0 Besides, if your hair is falling over your edges who cares if there not perfect? Focus on that fabulous hair, beautiful face and give your edges a break!

Once you accept the fact that you're not perfect, then you develop some confidence. ~Rosalynn Carter

Step 1:Press your edges in the beginning of the week
Step 2: Apply a small amount of a sleeking aid like Design Essentials sleek or Vontae silk effects. ( The thicker and drier the product the better)
Step 3: Tie a satin scarf around your edges tightly before sleeping and remove in the morning.

Comment below and share any of your tricks that keep you from going over the edge for your edges!

The Truth about Going Both Ways.....

Hello my Glamour Goddesses,
Rise and shine and get your dirty little minds out the gutter.I know I said I would be dishing dirty laundry but this dirt is all about HAIR and not lifestyle preferences (wink) :) Taking your hair both ways, meaning long and short simultaneously is not only extremely possible , but the lifetime fantasy of the girl who is " afraid of commitment"! With the use of Custom Hair Pieces and Innovative Weaving Techniques your long hair can be bob length or as short as a pixie cut within no time.It is the dream of the Glam Girl who wants that short cut but doesn't want the hassle of the growing it back or suffering through that dreadful in between stage .Kinda like the indecisive girl who wants the Cinderella Wedding but doesn't know if she can be married to him "Forever". When thinking of hair extensions it is often just thought of adding length and /or fullness. But now you can create the illusion of the ultimate hair subtraction and still maintain your long tresses for those times when it is a must that you swing you hair and let these girls HAVE IT! Get on the horn now with your Fairy Glam-mother (or if don't have one , feel free to inbox me glamforlife@gmail.com :) ) to make your dreams reality!!

Tell Fall to FALL BACK!!!!!

Well my lovely Glamour Babies the fall season is upon us and I know that we must keep ahead of trends. But who says your Hair Color has to take a back seat to all the wonderful "it colors " of fall fashion? As with any true glamour girls life , her hair has no rules. It is a true expression of her power and position in her career of Glam and she must use her power to show these other girls who's Boss! So if you think you have to go darker because its fall or because "They" say you should , ask yourself this question, " Does the Boss come out of the comforts of her office with a city view to work in her employees cubicle?" No! She sits in her lovely office and lets them take notes on how she got there, admire her oversized furniture, and teaches them how to stunt! So now is the perfect time to contact your Glamour Fairy ( if you don't have one yet ,your hairstylist will do:) and tell them you're ready to Glam up your fall tresses with a Bold Fall Red, Gleaming Copper, or Golden Blonde. I'm sure you'll enjoy the reviews and breaking all the rules!
